Instead of swap space, OpenVZ utilizes burstable memory; should your Virtual Private Server (VPS) suddenly require a quick burst of additional memory for a few minutes your memory limit will burst and your Virtual Private Server (VPS) won't crash. Unfortunately OpenVZ is limited to only Linux Operating Systems.
